Enric Maurí

Biography
Enric Maurí is an artist and curator who works across different registers, making free use of languages and drawing on a diversity of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, video, installation, photography, and performance. His work is articulated through questioning and self-questioning as mechanisms for debate and reflection. His projects address social issues, the environment, agriculture and rural life, the economy, landscape, and war. He received the 2020 Fundació Reddis Award for Atlantis, together with Nathalie Rey (2020), and has been awarded various grants for artistic creation by the Government of Catalonia, as well as a VEGAP grant.
Enric Maurí has presented projects at venues including Arts Santa Mònica, Centre d’Art Santa Mònica, Artual, Galeria Antonio de Barnola, Galeria H2O, Galeria Fidel Balaguer, and Galeria 44 in Barcelona; the 1st Cannes Biennale and Galeria Axe Actuel in France; Studio Ogetto in Italy; Espais in Girona; Roca Umbert Fàbrica de les Arts in Granollers; El Roser in Lleida; 72 Gallery in the United States; Tecla Sala in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat; Can Palauet in Mataró; ACVIC in Vic; Aldtu, Reus and Centre de Lectura in Reus; Ad Hoc in Vigo; Glougair in Berlin; Le Sud Attaque in Sète, France; Kastanien in Berlin; the CCCB and Fundació Miró in Barcelona; and museums in Girona, Granollers, Mollet del Vallès, and Cardedeu.
He has participated in the Winter Film Festival in Sarajevo; the 24h International Video Festival in Barcelona and England; LOOP in Barcelona; and Panoràmic, the Photography Festival in Granollers and Colombia. He has also presented his work at art fairs including ARCO in Madrid, Art Basel in Basel, Switzerland, as well as fairs in Bari and Turin, Italy, and the Fine Art Contemporary Art Fair in London.

Biografia
Enric Maurí és artista i curador, treballa en diferents registres, fa un ús lliure dels llenguatges i se serveix d’una diversitat de mitjans, com la pintura, el dibuix, l’escultura, el vídeo, la instal·lació, la fotografia o la performance. La seva obra s’articula a través d’interrogar i d’interrogar-se com a mecanisme de debat i pensament. Els seus projectes aborden qüestions socials, el medi ambient, el camp (la pagesia), l’economia, el paisatge i la guerra…. 
Premi Fundació Reddis 2020 amb Atlantis juntament amb Nathalie Rey, (2020) i ha rebut diferents beques a la creació Generalitat de Catalunya i una beca Vegap.

També ha presentat obres a fires d’art com ara Arco, de Madrid, Art Basel , Basilea (Suïssa), Bari i Torí (Itàlia) i Fine art contemporari de Londres.
